Anni-frid (Frida) - Jennie Fitzgerald

Jennie Fitzgerald has, from her earliest memory, been a keen singer. As a child she would drive her parents crazy with her constant singing along with her record collection in her bedroom. After starting her singing career with dance bands she progressed quickly, being given the rare honour of broadcasting live with the BBC Radio Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra. Her solo career has taken her around the world working with many and varied household names such as Michael Barrymore, The Three Degrees, Freddie Starr, David Essex, Mike Reid, The Drifters, Shane Ritchie and many more. She is also a talented writer with her songs attracting interest from top recording artistes, and featuring on The Real AbbA Gold's debut album "Janus". Acting also plays a part in Jennie's life. Aside from her taking the title role in pantomimes such as Snow White alongside Gary Wilmot, you will often spot her appearing in TV shows or commercials.

Bjorn - Kevin Locke

Front man Kevin Locke started his musical education at the age of 4. classically trained on violin and piano, he was soon involved in local orchestras, becoming Leader of The London Schools' Symphony Orchestra. Whilst at school he was introduced to the bass guitar, which was to become his main instrument. Like Jennie, his career has taken him around the world backing many top names like Bob Monkhouse, Ken Dodd, Tom O'Connor, Joe Pasquale, and such varied singers as Elaine Delmar and the legendary Beverley Sisters. Kevin is in much demand as a writer, producer and arranger. All of the songs you will hear The Real AbbA Gold perform are the product of his arranging skills, and his original songs are featured on the "Janus" album for which he was also the studio producer. Another actor, he is often seen on TV and Films, appearing in various adverts, recently on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Hornblower, and the Terry Jones film "The Wind In The Willows" to name a few.

Benny - Lindsay Elliot

All-round musician Lindsay Elliott not only sings and plays keyboards, but is also a top class drummer and percussionist. His illustrious past has seen him touring with Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel during their hey-day, a brand which utilised two drummers, his brother Stuart being the other one! He also played with those other Scandic crooners A-Ha. Amongst many other playing and recording credits, he has particularly enjoyed working with Kate Bush and Midge Ure. Lindsay is another talented writer, both musical and comedy, and like Jennie and Kevin, acting forms another string to his bow. You will spot him with alarming regularity on all sorts of commercials, TV and films.

Agnetha - Jayne Ashley

The "youngster" of the band, Jayne Ashley joined the line-up at the beginning of 1999. Her presence has already made tremendous impact with the band and audiences alike. Her career was kicked-off with her music degree from Leeds University, where she also studied drums and percussion! By an extraordinary coincidence she now finds herself singing in a band containing three drummers but only one drum-kit. Her singing experience has taken in many styles, including big-band, cover band and solo cabaret. Jayne has also shown her versatility by her experience in music theatre. She too has seen a fair part of the world following stings on cruise ships, and is a welcome addition to the team.

Dave Zubrasky

Known in the business as "The Guvnor", Dave Zubrasky is the "official" drummer of the band. His wealth of experience has included stints with the late great Billy Fury, and the chart-band Guys And Dolls. Dave's writing ability is well-known, and he has collaborated with other composers on numerous occasions to great effect. His songs are also featured on the "Janus" album. Apart from this, Dave is passing on his knowledge to the next generation as a much respected and sought-after drum teacher. Indeed his drumming tutorial books are to be found in music shops the length and breadth of Britain. You would, however, have to go considerably further-afield to find a finer drummer.
