Formed in 1993, as "AbbA Gold" and taking their name from the "Greatest Hits" album released in 1992, "The Real AbbA Gold" (name changed in 1997) are a leading force in the continuing upsurge in popularity of the "Tribute Band".

Since our performances, at the personal invitation of Richard Branson, at the Virgin Summer Parties, we have been in regular demand by the Virgin Organisation and other major corporate customers including: The BBC, Granada Television, Arsenal FC, Fulham FC, Holsten/Capital Gold, P&O, Sainsburys, Debenhams, Threshers and many, many more.

We are also favourites with students, providing top quality "head-line" entertainment for a number of Universities and College Balls.

The launch in 1998 of our debut album "JANUS" has seen widespread critical acclaim.
